- How can I receive my official University of Florida transcript?
The Office of the University Registrar maintains transcripts for all current and former students. All University of Florida students born in 1956 or later should order their official transcript on ONE.UF for the most expeditious service. Official transcripts ordered on ONE.UF are mailed out the following business day. To order on line you will need a valid GatorLink username and password and credit card. Former students who have a GatorLink account, but no longer have access, should contact the GatorLink Help Desk at 352-392-4357 to reactivate their account.
Former Students born in 1955 or earlier may need their transcripts moved to our online format before they can be ordered and mailed. More information on requesting that your transcript be converted to an online record can be found here.
Transcripts cannot be ordered by fax, telephone or e-mail since payment is required.

Please note that the University of Florida considers classroom performance an excellent indicator of college coursework success, and therefore places more emphasis on grades and the challenge of the high school curriculum (including the senior-year schedule).
It is important for the applicant to know that many factors are considered in the admissions process. While some applicants will be admitted to UF based primarily on their academic background, the majority will have a thorough review of academic and non-academic information. Freshman applicants are required to submit essays, personal profiles and extracurricular achievement listings.
It is very difficult to predict the admissibility of any applicant without considering all the information contained in the application file along with the size and strength of the applicant pool.
- What are the undergraduate transfer requirements at UF?
The University of Florida recognizes two types of undergraduate transfer students. The first type of transfer student has earned 13- 59 transferable semester college hours. This type of transfer student would be a freshman or sophomore on the UF campus. Due to a lack of space, this is the most difficult way to transfer into UF. In the recent past, requirements to transfer in this category have been close to, or equivalent to, the Honors Program requirements. This means a student must have a weighted 4.0 high school GPA as computed by UF, a minimum of 3.0 on all college work attempted, and a 1400 SAT or 33 ACT.
Transfer is most successful for students who have completed the AA degree from a Florida public community college, or 60 transferable semester hours at an accredited college or university. As a junior transfer at this level, students must have earned a minimum of a 2.0 at all institutions attended, have completed the foreign language requirement, and have completed the pre-requisite coursework for the intended major.
UF majors and their transfer admission requirements can be found in the Transfer Manual. Please note that in addition to prerequisite coursework, your major will also have a GPA requirement, and may have additional application procedures.
